Crewyard legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This is a general template for informational purposes and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not legal advice and may need to be adapted for your business, customers, and jurisdiction.
1. The service
Crewyard provides an AI-assisted back office for small home-service shops. Depending on your plan and configuration, the service may support booking, dispatch, lead follow-up, quotes, invoicing, review-reply drafts, reporting, and related workflows. Features may change over time, and some features may depend on third-party services or integrations.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, for giving access only to people who need it, and for promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be authorized to accept these terms on behalf of the business using Crewyard.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Crewyard to:
- Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or send communications without the required permission.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or probe its security.
- Use the service to make decisions that require professional judgment without appropriate human review.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as independently verified, guaranteed, or human-authored when that distinction matters.
- Reverse engineer, resell, copy, or extract the service except as permitted by law or in writing.
4. Customer content
You retain your rights in information, text, files, and other content you submit to Crewyard. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and to provide the features you request. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for us to process the content as described here.
5. AI assistance and human review
Crewyard may use AI to draft replies, summarize information, suggest next steps, classify leads, or assist with other workflows. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or not appropriate for a particular customer or job. You must review output before relying on it, sending it to a customer, publishing it as a review reply, using it in a quote or invoice, or taking action based on it. Crewyard does not provide legal, accounting, tax, medical, safety, or other professional advice.
6. Operational responsibilities
You are responsible for confirming bookings, availability, addresses, job scope, pricing, taxes, payment terms, invoice details, customer communications, review replies, and any commitments made through your account. Crewyard is a software tool and does not replace your staff, trade professionals, dispatch judgment, customer-service policies, or compliance obligations.
7. Fees and third-party services
Fees, billing frequency, trials, and included features are described at signup or in an applicable order. You authorize us or our payment provider to charge amounts due under your plan. Taxes and certain third-party charges may apply. Integrations and third-party services are governed by their own terms, availability, and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for changes or failures outside our reasonable control.
8. Intellectual property
Crewyard and its software, design, documentation, trademarks, and underlying technology are owned by Crewyard or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the service without creating an obligation to you.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Crewyard useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or always-current operation. Maintenance, updates, integrations, internet services, and events outside our control can affect availability. We may add, remove, or change features, including AI features, as the service develops.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Crewyard or cancel according to the applicable plan terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create risk, fail to pay, misuse the service, or if continued operation is not reasonably possible. After termination, some provisions may continue to apply, including those concerning ownership, content permissions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms.
11. Warranties disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Crewyard is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output, workflow recommendations, pricing, scheduling, invoice information, or review replies will be accurate or produce a particular result.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Crewyard and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service. Our total liability for covered claims will be limited to the fees you paid to Crewyard for the service during the period specified by applicable law or, if no period is specified, the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.
13. Governing law
Governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution terms should be completed for the business operating Crewyard and the jurisdictions in which it serves customers. Until those terms are expressly agreed in an applicable order or replacement agreement, this section is a placeholder and should not be treated as a final choice-of-law provision.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Crewyard changes. We will post the updated terms and revise the date above. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply to future use.
